Lake George is a small, round lake located in the Mammoth Lakes Basin in Mammoth Lakes, California. This attractive lake, fed by streams coming from nearby Crystal Lake and TJ Lake, sits at an elevation of 9,000 feet. Due to its elevation, in the spring, Lake George is one of the last lakes in the area to melt off ice.
